Yeah

Okay. Bill got his drivers license yesterday and to celebrate he drove to my gig at Little Gardens and played guitar with me all night. Tonight at Atlantic Seafood I was very happy to have Rick Hinkle playing guitar and singing with me.
I am proud to say that Bill's new CD from his band Unbounded Sky is his best yet. I've also been enjoying the new George Duke CD called Duke and Southern Exposure by Trumpeter Ken Watter's who I played with at The Jazz Forum a couple weeks ago. His version of The Allman Brothers Jessica is real cool.
Last sunday at The Jazz Forum we had special geust drummer Yonrico Scott who plays in The Derek Trucks band. Lot's of fun interplay between Rico and Bill Hatcher who as a rythm section have played together countless times. We brought back our medley of Blackbird(The Beatles) ,Bye Bye Blackbird and also played an extended version of You Stepped Out Of A Dream which has become one of my favorite standards.
We had several guests sit in including Bob, Nicole, Amanda, and Bill who played his new arrangment of She's Leaving Home with Bill Hatcher and Joel Morris.
Janna now has started a rock band and is writing songs. Never a dull moment around here and next week is band camp which Mindy has been busy preparing for. More later
