Robles Guitar

Had a great 2 day visit with my old pal Bobby Robles. He finished the guitar parts on the new record, playing on 5 cuts. I'm grateful to have such fine guitarists as Bobby,Bill Hatcher, Steve Cunningham, and Will Bernard. Bobby and I also played a gig on friday where we performed 2 songs by our L.A. power pop group The Now for the first time in 24 years. I must say The Human Element seems more relavant today than when we wrote it in 1982.

Yeah

Great day off today, doing yard work and loving life. Last week's show with The Shirelles, Dixie Cups and Angel's was a lot of fun. So many hits and it was cool to play at Harrah's Cherokee N.C.
Last night was another fun trio gig and tommorow it's back to Atlantic Seafood co. which is always a blast, great food to.

gigs, gigs, gigs

So many fun gigs this week and no end in site. What a life. Last nights trio gig at The Intercontinental hotel was one of the best. FIne Bass player-Scott Smith who heard everything I did with no charts includidng Both Sides Now, Little Red Corvette, The Warmth OF The Sun, HoneySuckle Rose, Tea For Two, I'm In You, This Nearly Was Mine, Slow Love, a bunch of Latin stuff, Keith Runfola is such an amazingly gifted and sensitive drummer who always stays on form during solo's and hears everything. Lot's of polyrythmic counterpoint between the 3 of us. Tommorow Never Knows.
